- All mailed entries to NASA-Ames should have names, phone numbers, addresses, e-mail addresses, and ages.
- Teachers should send all student projects from your classes together.
- There are two age categories: Grades 6-9 and 10-12. On each age group there are two sub-categories for individual and group entries.
- There is one grand prize for all categories.

All participants will be recognized with a certificate of participation.

All winners (grand prize and 1,2,3 in individual and team categories) will be invited on a tour of NASA-Ames escorted by the contest organizer Bryan Yager. Transportation to NASA-Ames is not included. The one-day tour will be in late June.
