Houston area NSS members and friends (children, too) are invited to join JSC Director Mike Coats at a Welcome Home at Ellington Field Hangar 990 (take Ellington exit off I-45) on Father's Day, Sunday, June 15 beginning at 4 p.m.(?CST)
The crew includes Commander Mark Kelly, Pilot Ken Ham and Mission Specialists Karen Nyberg, Ron Garan, Mike Fossum, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's (JAXA) Akihiko Hoshide and Garrett Reisman, who is returning from space after a three-month stint aboard the International Space Station. Greg Chamitoff, who was launched with the STS-124 crew, traded places with Reisman during the mission, beginning his stay as a flight engineer and science officer during Expedition 17 on the station.
