Rick has also served on numerous committees, and chairs the NSS Policy Implementation Subcommittee. Rick is also the founder and president of the Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Space Society. In May 2008, in recognition of his efforts on behalf of the National Space Society in particular and the space movement in general, Rick received the National Space Society’s 2008 Chris Pancratz Space Activist of the Year Award. Above all, Rick brings to the National Space Society a life-long enthusiasm for and devotion to the furtherance of space exploration, development, and settlement. |
