Pat Montoure is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Space Society (NSS).

Ms Montoure is serving as a Regional Director for the National Space Society. She was Co-Chair of the 2006 International Space Development Conference (ISDC), the annual conference of the National Space Society (NSS). She also chaired the 2003 and 1990 ISDCs. She has served on the Conference Coordinating Committee for many years. She has been a member of NSS and the L-5 Society (one of two organizations that merged in 1987 to create NSS) for more than 25 years. Ms. Montoure has served for many years on the Boards of Directors of OASIS (the Los Angeles chapter), Golden Gate (the San Francisco chapter) and the California Space Development Council. The latter was a statewide organization created by California chapters.

Ms. Montoure works at Space Systems/Loral, a leading Satellite Design and Manufacturing Company, as Design Specialist with 40 years experience in the Aerospace field.
